Daikin Malaysia has been named the overall winner at the prestigious Prime Minister’s Hibiscus Award (PMHA) 2024/2025, earning the highest recognition for environmental excellence in the private sector.
The air-conditioning leader received the coveted Challenge Trophy—a bronze sculpture representing resilience and harmony with nature—in recognition of its outstanding performance throughout the award cycle. In addition, Daikin Malaysia was conferred the Excellent Achievement in Environmental Performance merit, the programme’s highest category. The honour underscores the company’s unwavering dedication to sustainability, responsible corporate practices, and ongoing innovation in delivering advanced air solutions.
This achievement further strengthens Daikin Malaysia’s growing list of accolades in 2025. Just days earlier, the company was also honoured with the Gold Award in the Personal Household & Outdoor Appliance category at the Putra Brand Awards 2025.
The Prime Minister’s Hibiscus Award (PMHA) is the premier private-sector environmental award in Malaysia, aimed at recognizing business and industrial organizations for their outstanding commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development. The award is endorsed by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES) and supported by the Department of Environment (DOE).
