Daikin pursues management aimed at new value creation to contribute to solutions to social issues and sustainable growth through its businesses. We have identified material sustainability issues facing the company based on assessment of impacts that our business operations have on the environment and society. Regarding the top priority theme of the environment, we established Environmental Vision 2050 based on the analysis of risks and opportunities. In turn, Fusion Strategic Management Plans are used to establish specific targets as well as plan and execute measures for every five-year period.

The Daikin Malaysia 6A Policy serves as a local roadmap to achieve the global Environmental Vision 2050 goal of net-zero emissions. It prioritizes compliance with legal standards and mitigating environmental impact through a circular economy (5R). Key actions include optimizing energy performance in product design, supporting effective management systems, and working toward Carbon Neutral Factories, all while committing to the continual improvement of environmental and energy management.

Daikin Malaysia recognizes that true sustainability cannot be achieved without a healthy workforce. Daikin Malaysia's strong commitment to the well-being of its workforce, embodied in its Safety & Health Policy and internally referred to as the "5C Policy". This policy emphasizes zero occupational accidents & ill health through active risk management.
