YANGON: On 25 July 2025, Daikin Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Myanmar branch) marked a major milestone in HVAC innovation with the official launch of the Daikin VRV 6 A Series, an event held at the prestigious Wyndham Grand Hotel, Yangon. The event was graced by dealers from major cities such as Yangon, Mandalay and Naypyitaw, as well as consultants, architects, property developers, project owners, contractors, and HVAC installers.

The VRV 6 A Series brings together cutting-edge compressor and PCB technology, paired with the intelligent VRT Smart II control system, optimizing both performance and energy savings. Designed for today’s dynamic environments, the new VRV 6 A Series boasts compact design suitable for limited space in buildings, enhance stability during earthquakes, extended piping capabilities, and flexible installation options, ensuring reliability even in higher-temperature climates compared to its predecessors.

In his keynote address, Mr. Toshiharu Tsurumaru, Chief Operating Officer of Daikin Malaysia, emphasized the spirit of innovation behind the product launch.

“The VRV 6 is not just a product — it’s a promise to innovate, lead, and care,” he said. He further emphasized that “sustainability isn’t a destination, it’s the road we’ve chosen — and the VRV 6 is a major milestone on that journey.”
