As part of Selangor’s ongoing strategic industry outreach in Japan, His Highness the Crown Prince of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, together with the Selangor delegation, paid a visit to Daikin Industries, Ltd at its Technology Innovation Centre in Osaka. This visit was held in conjunction with #SelangorWeek at Expo 2025 Osaka.

The purpose of the visit was to recognize Daikin’s longstanding presence and contributions in Selangor, deepen bilateral business ties, explore future investment opportunities, and gain direct insights into the company’s cutting-edge HVAC technologies and sustainability efforts.

During the visit, the delegation was given a comprehensive tour of Daikin’s advanced Innovation Centre and engaged in discussions with senior executives on research and development, eco-friendly manufacturing practices, and regional growth strategies.

Daikin, with over RM800 million invested and a workforce of more than 5,000 in Selangor, continues to play a vital role in driving the state’s industrial development and economic progress.
